How do I choose the right size?

We offer nine sizes from 20 sq ft to 200 sq ft. Our size guide shows each one with approximate dimensions and examples of what it might hold. Start with your larger items, then estimate boxes. If you are between two sizes, we are happy to help.

Are the dimensions exact?

No. Each size has one approximate pair of dimensions to help you picture it. All dimensions are approximate. Individual unit dimensions and layouts may vary.

The contents examples are illustrative only. How much fits depends on the shape of your belongings and how you pack them.

How do I book?

Choose a size, then continue to our online booking platform to select a start date. Our Terms & Conditions are the terms that apply to your storage rental; read them before booking.

How much does storage cost?

Check each size for its live price and availability. Four-week rents are shown as a weekly equivalent, alongside the four-week charge. Rent is paid in advance every four weeks from your move-in date. There is no deposit, admin fee or VAT.

Do you have an opening offer?

Accepted Answer

When booking online, enter discount code NEW50 at checkout for 50% off your first 8 weeks’ unit rent on any of our nine sizes. Your first two four-week billing periods are half price; regular rent applies from week nine. There is no deposit and no admin fee. Contents protection is separate and is not discounted by this offer.

What if the size I want is sold out?

We will show you other sizes that are currently available, and you can enquire about the size you wanted. An enquiry does not reserve a unit or guarantee future availability.

Is there a minimum term or notice period?

Your agreement is ongoing, with rent charged in advance every four weeks. You can give notice at any time through your booking account or by contacting the team; one month’s notice is required. Access continues until 11pm on the anniversary of your last payment. The agreement describes how charges work after notice; statutory cancellation rights may also apply to an online booking.

When can I access my unit?

Facility access is 07:30–21:30 every day, local time in Kendal. Customer service is available separately, 24/7, 365 days a year.

Is the facility staffed?

everstore is an unmanned facility with automated access. There is no on-site reception, but our customer service team is available 24/7, 365 days a year by phone or email.

How does entry work?

Our state of the art keyless smart entry system opens the facility entrance and individual unit doors. After booking, we email you the access information you need. Access starts on your booked date once the facility is operational.

How are my belongings protected?

Units are individually alarmed, and the building has motion sensors, access control, secure doors and 24/7 remote monitored CCTV. Access to the facility and to your unit door is controlled through smart access.

Is contents protection included?

Accepted Answer

You must keep your stored goods insured against all Normal Perils for their Replacement Value throughout the storage period. StoreProtect is charged separately and applies only if offered, selected and confirmed for your booking. Check the policy wording to make sure the cover meets the agreement. The agreement also limits liability for loss or damage to goods to £100, subject to its full terms.

Is it easy to load and unload?

Yes. We have loading areas, customer parking, trolleys and wide corridors to make moving in and out easier.

Is there anything I cannot store?

We do not accept living creatures, flammable or hazardous goods, weapons, explosives, illegal or stolen goods, items that emit fumes or odours, environmentally harmful goods, or irreplaceable valuables. Some securely packed food may be permitted. Check the full list before storing anything.
