Part A — Using this website

Who we are

This website is operated by Everstore Ltd, trading as everstore™. Its registered office is Orchard House, Natland, Kendal, England, LA9 7QQ, United Kingdom. You can contact us at admin@everstore.uk or 01539 896166.

Website content and acceptable use

We aim to keep information on this website accurate and current. Unit dimensions are approximate and availability can change; our online booking platform confirms the live details, price and terms before you book. Do not use the website unlawfully, try to disrupt its operation or interfere with its security. We may update website information when our services change. Website terms do not themselves create a storage rental.

Nothing in these website terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. The website is provided without affecting any consumer rights you may have.

Part B — Storage agreement

Booking and when the agreement starts

The full Storage Agreement is accepted during customer sign-up. By signing up, making payment and moving your belongings into Everstore Self Storage, you accept its terms. You can compare sizes and current prices and availability here, then review the live details in our online booking platform before booking.

This is an ongoing agreement that can be cancelled at any time. Rent is charged in advance every four weeks, starting on the first day of each storage period. Give one month's notice to end the agreement, through your booking account or by contacting our team. The key points state that access continues until 11pm on the anniversary of your last payment; Condition 34 says apportioned fees may apply if less than the required notice is given. Before your visit, we send the access information you need by email. Facility access is every day from07:30–21:30 local time in Kendal; customer service is available 24/7, 365 days a year. The facility is unmanned and has no on-site reception.

Price, payment and the NEW50 offer

Check the amount shown for your selected unit in the booking flow before you confirm. The Storage Agreement requires rent to be paid in advance on the first day of each storage period; the current Storeganise catalogue bills every four weeks. No deposit, admin fee or VAT is charged. If you enter code NEW50 when booking during the welcome offer, the offer is 50% off the first 8 weeks' unit rent on all nine sizes. The first two four-week billing periods are half price, then regular rent applies from week nine. This discount does not apply to contents protection.

The weekly price is an equivalent of the four-week charge, rounded to the nearest penny. The four-week amount shown in your booking is the amount payable. Prices and billing periods on this website follow the live online booking platform.

A Cleaning Fee may be charged at Everstore Self Storage's discretion. Condition 18 sets a minimum £75 charge for the specified cleaning, repair, replacement, restoration, compensation and disposal costs. A fee of at least £75 may also apply if you block access or leave items obstructing the facility (Condition 19). Reasonable costs of collecting overdue rent or enforcing the agreement, and applicable government taxes, may also be charged.

Using the facility and looking after stored goods

Access is through our state of the art keyless smart entry system at the facility entrance and your unit door. Keep the access information sent to you secure, and contact us if it is lost or you cannot enter. Visitor access, interruptions and temporary closures are handled in line with your booking terms and any safety or security instructions we provide.

You remain responsible for the belongings you choose to store and for packing them appropriately. The items in the following list are not permitted in your storage unit, subject to the food-packing exception in the agreement. If you are unsure about an item, contact us before bringing it to the facility. On smaller screens, scroll the table horizontally to read all three columns.

Contents protection

You must keep the goods insured against all Normal Perils for their Replacement Value throughout storage. Everstore Self Storage does not insure goods under the standard agreement. StoreProtect or other insurance facilitated by Everstore applies only if offered, selected and confirmed for your booking; check its policy wording to make sure it meets the agreement. The agreement limits liability for loss or damage to goods to £100, subject to its full terms. Read our contents protection information and the full Storage Agreement.

Cancellation, ending a booking and moving out

The agreement is ongoing and you can give notice at any time through your booking account or by contacting our team. One month's notice is required. The key points say no further charges are made after notice and that access continues until 11pm on the anniversary of your last payment. Condition 34 says apportioned Storage Fees may apply if less than the required notice is given. Statutory cancellation rights may also apply to an online booking; see the agreement and contact us about your circumstances.

Remove all goods and leave the unit clean and in good repair by the end of your rental. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms.

Missed payments and goods left in a unit

If rent or other sums remain unpaid, we may restrict access to the unit until the debt is cleared. Storage fees continue to accrue until payment or until the goods are sold or disposed of. Before selling or disposing of goods for non-payment or because they remain after the rental ends, we will give written notice directing you to pay the debt or collect the goods. The agreement allows one month for you to respond before the sale or disposal process begins. We may recover reasonable costs of accessing, removing, selling or disposing of goods. Sale proceeds are applied to those costs and the debt; any shortfall is payable within 7 days of written demand. Goods that cannot reasonably be sold may be disposed of at your cost.

Responsibility, complaints and governing law

We handle responsibility for loss or damage and any complaint in accordance with the terms accepted for your rental and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where the law does not allow that.

To raise a question or complaint, call 01539 896166 or email admin@everstore.uk. These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The Storage Agreement separately states that storage rentals and related disputes are governed by Northern Ireland law and the Courts of Northern Ireland, subject to any consumer protections that apply to you.
